I've seen these birds - they are wild and silly. Nice post, for sure!

What a fabulous haiga. (I've never seen drunk birds in nature, but when I was a child we had a parakeet that loved to drink champagne -- and champagne only -- from the rim of a glass, even though or maybe because it made him sneeze!)

You bring great memories. I grew up eating grapes off the vine with my friends in our neighborhood. Nice surprise in that last line.

I love watching those birds flitter in and out of the rows! Well captured. I'm looking forward to reading more . . .

Thanks for coming by swirlingnotions!

It never occurred to me that there would be weaving birds during harvest. Lovely poem.
