I remember as a child, lying on the front seat of the car with my head in the lap of the non-driving parent, watching the raindrops slide down the windscreen of the car making the shape of red blood cells.
Now, if I could just pluck that image out of my brain, it would make a wonderful companion for this photograph.

A windshield's planes have separated on impact and created those pop art flowers.
