This is really a great ku! I love 'memory driftwood'.
I made a walking stick out of a piece of driftwood I found on the beach after the Blizzard of '78', here on the east coast! It has indeed seen better days!
I really like where you took this prompt. Unique images in words and photo. It seems stranded and sea images go hand in hand for I went with that this week too.
unexpected 'take' on this prompt, but wonderful image with your words
I’m late to visit because ‘life’ got in the way, but I did publish two ‘week 6’ posts for One Single Impression: Stranded ... one on each of my blogs on Wednesday of last week and I hope you’ll find time to visit. They’re here: Heliocopter Rescue and Polar Bears Hugs and blessings,

Love this. I feel that my mind mired in sand.
From now on, I will think of my brought home treasure as being stranded! Lovely presentation.

you have made me see my beachcombing in a totally different light...
I find this sad. Poignant. Bittersweet. And so very lovely.
Beautiful. I felt as though the better days did not come, thus the grit in your mind. Very nice.
Mind blowing!
