Oh, my! This is great! Love the glass eyed audience. Wonderful haibun!

Learning a way out of loneliness for fun is a beautiful idea. I enjoyed your work.

I love that first one! I can just see and experience it in memories of my own. (One of the things I gave to a dear friend in downsizing for my move to California, was a small black teddy bear with the shiniest glass eyes. Even as a adult I'd find myself gazing into them...)

These are just wonderful. I too am drawn to the line on loneliness. All of these are evocative.

Oh my, except for the scent of lime blossom (for me it was the stink of gingko blossoms) you have eerily recalled my childhood too. "every glass eye aglow" oh yes!

These are both beautiful and poignant. There is such a feeling of loneliness. I love your imager especially the 'glass eye audience' and 'the scent of lime blossom'.

I am glad you liked this. It was the first time I attempted a haibun.

I was indeed.
But it did not feel so lonely (I think because I did not have any point of comparison - to me this was normal)

Beautiful!

"Stories my best friends" pretty much sums up my childhood. Sad and sweet together.
