This is a lovely statue, is it Roman or Greek, is she Aphrodite? goddess of love? I think back then the "breast" did not have the overtly sexual overtones. It was simply a "breast". I dont think that there would be the worry. During this time knowledge of the human body was more important than any morales. The body associated with "sin" came later. There was much drapery in the classical idealized form of the woman. Is Interlude 2 music? Thank-you for this spacedlaw! Bella!
