I always feel sorry for animals like this - although compared to some photos I've seen of so-called beasts of burden, this one is getting off rather lightly - some seem so bored, some look broken in spirit. I realize that for many people this is a necessary part of the struggle for survival, but what if we all could be free, animals and humans, too. That my dream of a perfect world!
